Awesome job on the UI, Lesly. Although I have to as if you have given Fireworks a try for UI design.

The more I see for-screen design done in Photoshop, the more I realize how much more manageable it could be if done in Fireworks. Take the strip at the bottom for example. It could have been so much easier as a vector object instead of a bitmap layer with the triangles cut out of it. Sure, it could have been a shape layer in Photoshop, but the typical click-select-edit workflow of Fireworks just feels much simpler to me.

Any tutorial on how to create that strip effect? Thanks.

It could be as simple as drawing a rectangle, adding nodes at equal distance on the top horizontal segment and selecting & moving alternate nodes up.

    why doing it so quickly
to show us how capable you are
and mean while make sure that we cant learn from it
i didn’t like the way you did it but i’ve to admit the design was pretty and successful
