1.1 Welcome to the Course
Hello, and welcome to this Envato Tuts+ course. I’m Adi Purdila, and in this course you’ll learn everything you need to get started with Adobe XD.
XD is a very popular app for UI and UX design that allows you to effortlessly create websites, mobile apps, interaction design, icons, and more.
Being such a powerful app, it has lots of features and tools, so for this course we’re going to take it step by step and structure things into three chapters.
The first one is all about the basics. Here, you’ll learn how to work with artboards, shapes, text, and images.
In the second chapter, we’ll explore some of XD’s more advanced features like components, responsive layouts, and plugins.
Finally, in the third chapter, we’ll cover XD’s prototyping features, including auto-animate, which is a simple and powerful way of adding animations to Adobe XD prototypes.
Alright, we have a lot to go through, so let’s get started with the basics. In the next lesson, you’ll learn how to create and manage artboards. See you there!
