1.1 Welcome to the Course

Figma is a browser-based interface design tool, and some time ago we produced an introductory course which covered the basics (you’ll find a link to that in the lesson notes). In this course, you’ll learn about some of the more intermediate functionality in Figma.

So if you’d like to dig a little deeper and take your Figma skills to the next level, you’re in the right place. Let’s jump straight in and learn about Figma Pages. That’s coming up in the next lesson.

1.1 Welcome to the Course

Hello and welcome to an Envato Tuts+ course. I'm Adi Purdila, and in this course you'll learn about the more advanced functionality in Figma. If you don't know, Figma is a browser based interface design tool. And we already made an introduction course on it a while back, which covered the basics. You'll find a link in the lesson notes. Now if you want to dig a little deeper and learn about the more advanced functionality, then you're in the right place. Here's a breakdown of what you'll learn in this course. First, pages. This is a feature that allows for better organization within your project. Then we'll take a look at some keyboard shortcuts. Figma has some great ones that will seriously speed up your workflow. In the third lesson, you'll learn about layer constraints. Then in lesson four, we'll talk about version history and why it's a must-have. Lesson five would be about Figma styles, a pretty and recent edition that allows you to create reusable styles for your elements. And finally you'll learn about team libraries and how this can help you and your team be more productive. So without further ado, let's jump straight in and learn about pages, that's coming up in the next lesson.
