1.1 Welcome to the Course
Hello, and welcome to this Envato Tuts+ short course. I’m Adi Purdila, and in this course I’ll show you how to create custom themes for the Reveal.js presentation framework.
If you’re not familiar with Reveal.js, check out the introduction course I made recently where I cover the basic installation and functionality. The link is down below.
Reveal.js already has a few themes you can choose from, but sometimes you will want to create your own. In this course, I’ll show you how to properly install the framework to be able to create custom themes, and then we’ll build a custom theme together. At any point along the way, you can download it and use it in your own presentations.
So without further ado, let’s jump straight in and install the framework!

Now the framework already has a few themes you can choose from but sometimes you will want to create your own. In this course, I'll show you how to properly install the framework to be able to create custom themes. And then, we'll build this together. It's a simple custom theme for Reveal JS that you can download and use in your own presentations. So, without further ado, let's jump straight in and install the framework.
