1.1 Up and Running With Craft CMS

Craft CMS is a system that's rapidly becoming a go-to for professionals who need to create customizable, flexible, robust sites where they can set up content entry methods, unique to users and yet still provide a backend that's secure and simple for clients to use. In this course, you're going to learn all the most important things you need in order to get up and running with Craft CMS. We're going to stop by touching on some of the points that make Craft CMS different to other content management systems, then we're going to go through how to install the system. You'll learn about how content is organized in Craft CMS because it is quite different to other systems. Then you're gonna to go through some basic examples of setting up your own unique entry types in the backend as well as creating a custom template to display this unique entry type. This course is gonna get you introduced to all the fundamentals, and then after this, we'll move into a second course, where we'll take you through building a landing page from scratch. But first, let's get those all important fundamentals down and get up and running with Craft CMS. I'll see you in the first lesson.
