5.1How to Choose the Right Editor?02:38
1.1 Welcome
Which text editor should I use? Well, this is a question that a lot of people ask themselves, and even I have a couple of years ago when I first started coding. But my options then were kinda limited, especially since I was using Windows. Nowadays things are a bit different, because there are a bunch of code editors out there. Some are simple. Some are more complex. For example, they give you the option to install packages or plugins from GitHub. Some are Mac only, some are Windows only, and some are cross-platform. So from this whole array of editors, how do you choose the right one for you? Well, that's what we'll learn in this course. We'll analyze six of the most popular editors, and then we'll learn the pros and cons for using them, and in the end we'll have a look at the chart which will hopefully help you pick the right one for you. So without further ado, let's start with the Mac-only editors. And the very first one is Coda. That's coming up next.
