[SOUND] Hello and welcome to this Tuts+ Coffee Break course on the anatomy of a WordPress theme template file. My name's Rachel McCollin, and in this course I'm gonna show you exactly how a theme template file is structured. So we'll use this site that's running the 2016 theme. And I'm gonna show you the structure of 2016 through the index.PHP file, the header file, the side bar and footer files, and template parts that output the contents of the loop. So if you watch this course you'll learn how to structure your own template files when you start building your own themes.
