1.1 Welcome to the Course
Lately, Figma has been really taking off as an interface design tool. You've probably heard a bunch of different web designers discussing how they've transitions themselves, their teams. And even their whole studios over to using Figma for the interface design portion of the web design process. But on top of being really popular for its interface design functionality. Another thing that we're hearing people talk about a lot is that they're choosing to use it for their vector design capability. Rather than switching into another program when they need to do vector based graphics. And when it comes to working with vectors for web design, a lot of the time what you're gonna be doing is working with a scalable vector graphics. And an area that Figma is really starting to shine is using its inbuilt vector design tools to create SVGs for your sites. In this short course, you're gonna learn how to use Figma's vector tool. But it's gonna be with SVGs specifically in mind. So you learned how all the different tools work, what all the options are that are available to you. And importantly, how to make sure that you use those tools. And those options to create a graphic that's actually going to be reproducible in SVG. So let's go ahead and get started on Figma for SVG. I will see you in the first lesson.
