1.1 Welcome to the Course
Hello, and welcome to a new Envato Tuts+ course. I’m Adi Purdila, and in this short course you’ll learn how to get started with WooCommerce blocks. Blocks are a relatively new feature of WooCommerce, and they work seamlessly with the Gutenberg editor introduced in WordPress 5.
In a nutshell, WooCommerce blocks allow you to easily display your products in posts and pages. At the time of this recording there are 21 blocks available, and we’ll have a look at all of them.
First, we’ll take a look at how you can access these blocks and see what each and every one of them is for. Then, we’ll create a custom shop page, and in the final lesson we’ll create some custom cart and checkout pages.
So, if you’re eager to get started, let’s not waste any more time and get right into it. I’ll see you in the next lesson, where you’ll learn how to access and use these blocks.
