1.1 Welcome to the Course

Hello and welcome to this Envato Tuts+ course. I’m Adi Purdila, and in the following lessons you’ll learn how to use some of the more advanced features found in Adobe XD.

Adobe XD is well known in the design world for being a fantastic app for UI design. It’s also an app that anyone can learn to use very easily. However, there are a few advanced tools that will take a bit longer to get used to and learn properly; that’s what this course is all about.

We’ll be taking a closer look at tools like auto-animate, 3D transforms, stacks, and component states. We’ll also explore some plugins that will elevate your XD experience.

This course is therefore a bit more advanced, so you’ll need to know the basics of working in Adobe XD first. If you’re looking for more beginner-friendly courses on Adobe XD, we have those as well on Envato Tuts+, and I’ve linked a few handy resources in the lesson notes below.

With that said, let’s jump right in and learn about working with auto-animate. See you in the next lesson.
