Welcome to “A Visual Guide to CSS Animation”, an Envato Tuts+ course to get you up to speed with CSS animation using the visual tools available from Webflow. In this quick introduction, we’ll take a look at what’s in store.
1.1 A Visual Guide to CSS Animation
Hi I'm Kezz Bracey for Tuts+, and in this course you're gonna learn the basics of CSS animation. As we go through you'll be learning everything in a visual way in real time through a free account at Webflow. We're gonna cover some of the fundamental concepts about how 2D animation works in general and how it works specifically with CSS. And we're not gonna cover at key-frame animations because they are a little bit more advanced. Instead, we're gonna be focusing on transitions and transforms. We'll go through what transitions are and then you'll use transitions to create a few different effects yourself. We'll go through the different settings that you can use to tweak how your transitions look. Then we're gonna move on to working with transforms first in 2D and then in 3D. So let's get started with a visual guide to CSS animation. I'll see you in the first lesson.
